INDIVIDUAL ATTRACTIONS Washington County is full of great attractions, and all of them are a quick car ride from Scenic Hill. Here are some favorite places to visit: FUN MUSEUMS: Sterling McCall's Old Car Museum Washington On the Brazos State Park Brenham Heritage Museum ROUND TOP: Round Top is a neat little town with several local attractions worth seeing Round Top Henkel Square in Round Top Festival Hill at Round Top. WINE: Pleasant Hill Winery The Wine Shop at Round Top – In the Round Top Square Buffalo Creek Winery – Just south of Bellville on Hwy 36. They have a very nice indoor-outdoor wine-tasting facility. Call for information on weekend events, food and live music. PLANTS/GARDENS/ROSES: The Antique Rose Emporium This is a neat place to visit and walk around, with extensive rose and wildflower gardens. ORGANIC PRODUCE: Home Sweet Farm Close to Scenic Hill on FM 2502 and featuring a suprising array of vegetables. Check the web site for Monthly Market days.				Washington County in the Spring MOVIES: Westwood Cinema 6 just west of Brenham on 290 ( 2100 Hwy 290, West) SHOPPING/ANTIQUES: Brenham’s Downtown Square GOLFING: A beautiful golf course: The Falls Resort near New Ulm MINIATURE HORSES: The Monastery of St. Claire Miniature Horse Ranch. A fun stop for the small kids. FLORIST: Flowers Make Scents – They deliver to Scenic Hill, and you can order on-line. THEATRE: Surprisingly good live theatrical performances can be seen in Brenham at the Unity Theatre.
